It is a clean, and well taken-care-of place to bring your vbildren and expect and get s good time with family and friends.

A small park with alot of history! A nice small trail to take a walk in the woods! If you just want to take a quick break with mother nature!? This is where to go!

Beautiful getaway. Safe for being in KCMO

This is a great city park lovely trails old ruins and a cave. This park is very close to the zoo and to the highway but far enough away to make it also nice. A long time ago the masons owned this land and had a golf course they loved golf courses. This was owned by the Kansas City Masonic Temple according to documents owned by the parks department. There is a nice climbing structure not like any park I have ever seen. Great day walk place or night walk and the little cave is entertaining. This park in the fall is beautiful many colors of changing leaves. There is some wild life in this park the squirrels and the birds are nice but the ground hogs and salamanders can be exciting to see. If you are very lucky you will see the white tail deer running though on thier way to a neighborhood garden or someone's flower bed. These woods are truly magickal with all the Masonic connection and caves and animals you will not be disappointed by the wonder and folly you will find froliking and playing in this piece of God's own country. Watch out for bees and butterflies.

Traveled from Omaha to see this place. Fun trails that have gorgeous views. Tons of history to see and learn about. The caves were actually there, after turning on our flashlight we found HUNDREDS of cave crickets that looked exactly like spiders. I highly recommend taking an hour or two out of your day to explore this area.
